FAQ

Coastal Artwork Prints & Sizing

All Coastal Palms Arts orders are professionally Giclée printed on archival fine art paper, prized for its gallery-like quality. Giclée printing methods and inks are the highest standard for gorgeous, vibrant results.

To ensure your art arrives gallery-ready, I have a trusted relationship with Giclée Today, a professional giclée printer in my home region. Unless a client indicates otherwise, I turn to them for most requests.

That said, if you prefer to use your own printer, I can certainly work with them and you to make that happen.

If you’re hanging art on a wall:

  • Aim for about 1/2 to 3/4 the width of the furniture it’s being placed over.

For a statement piece:

  • Aim for about 1/2 to 3/4 the width of the entire wall.

Keep in mind that your displayed coastal artwork will equal the size of the print PLUS your frame and any mat you choose — so you’ll want to dust off your measuring tape and math skills.

If you’re working with an interior designer, they’ll guide you through this process. I’m also happy to lend my two cents.

Yes — I work closely with professional printers to make sure that images are appropriate for the sizes offered, and that the resolution of every print is sharp.

At the moment, no. I currently only offer unframed prints, and encourage you to work with professional framers in your community to find the perfect frame. Framing artwork is an art unto itself!

That said, in early 2026, I will begin selling a select line of framed coastal artwork in partnership with local professional framers. For updates, sign up for my newsletter.

Shipping & Unboxing

Shipping is free anywhere in the contiguous United States.

I use UPS for all Coastal Palms artwork orders.

Prints are typically delivered within 10 business days of your order.

That allows 5 business days for production, plus 5 business days for transit. As soon as your order has been printed, packaged and accepted by UPS, you’ll receive a tracking number and link to check its shipment progress.

If you have a hard deadline for your order, please allow a generous cushion on top of this estimate, as I am unable to offer returns or reprints for orders that are tracked as in transit and then delayed in transit.

If you’re not sure about timing, feel free to reach out to me directly before placing your order. I may be able to find you an expedited option.

Smaller prints (11″x17″) are packaged in a plastic sleeve backed with cardboard inside a stiff envelope. Medium and larger prints (16″x24″ and up) are rolled up in archival-safe paper inside a sturdy art shipping tube.

If you’re working with a local framer:

The best option is to bring the unopened package straight to them — they’ll take care of flattening and framing your print.

If you’re framing your print yourself:

  • Wash your hands before handling it, and ideally, wear clean white cotton gloves. Avoid touching the printed area, and always lift from opposite corners.
  • When taking a rolled print out of its shipping tube, first prepare a clean, flat surface. Carefully unroll your print, ensuring the image side is facing down, and place heavy books, magazines, or specialized weights on the corners to weight it down evenly. For added protection, put a layer of craft paper between the back of the print and weights.
  • Leave the print, and it will flatten itself within 24 hours or a few days. (Do not roll it in the opposite direction, as this can crease the paper and create scratches.)

Returns & Exchanges

I want to make sure you’re thrilled with your order. If anything is not to your satisfaction, just reach out to me within 14 days of receiving your coastal artwork.

For printing errors or damages in transit:

  • Choose between an exchange or a full refund to your original payment method for your coastal artwork.
  • If you choose a refund, please allow 10 business days for the credit to be issued to your account.
  • In the case of errors or damages to your coastal artwork, return shipping and restocking are free — so there will be no additional cost to you. To help me file a claim with the carrier or lab, please take photos of both the outside packaging and the damaged/incorrect print.

For a change of mind:

Because all orders are custom printed, and because I am a (very) small business, this is a little more complicated. So before ordering your coastal artwork, please read all product descriptions and consider print sizing carefully. If you’d like advice on size, color or anything else, feel free to contact me!

Still, I understand that sometimes buyer’s remorse happens.

If for any reason you’re not thrilled with your artwork:

  • Reach out to me directly within 14 days of receiving your order. I will do everything possible to offer at least a partial refund or exchange, which will be issued upon receipt of the items you’re returning.
  • Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping for any coastal artwork you are returning/exchanging.
  • If I cannot find another buyer for your artwork, depending on your order and return details, I may need to charge a 30% return fee. Again, I will work with you to ensure this is a last-resort option.

For delays in transit:

  • I’m so sorry, but I am unable to accept returns or exchanges for delays due to shipment carrier. Please carefully read this shipping policy and estimate before ordering your coastal artwork.

Yes. If it’s within 4 hours of placing your order, just email me at hello@coastalpalmsart.com and I can take care of your request.

After 4 hours, orders are automatically marked as final and submitted to the print lab for processing.

Contact me as soon as possible at hello@coastalpalmsart.com, and I’ll arrange for a replacement. To help me file a claim with the carrier or lab, please take photos of both the outside packaging and the damaged/incorrect print.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds or reprints on orders that are tracked as in transit and then delayed in transit.

What to keep in mind:

  • As soon as your order has been printed, packaged and accepted by UPS, you’ll receive a tracking number and link to check its shipment progress.
  • For standard shipping, UPS estimates about 5 business days from package acceptance till delivery — but sometimes this estimate isn’t precise, and there are many shipping delays across the country.
  • Normally, the entire production and shipping process typically takes about 10 business days from the time of your order. So if you have a hard deadline, please allow a generous cushion beyond that to be safe — or reach out to me directly before ordering. I may be able to find you an expedited option.

Coastal Artwork Partnerships

Yes! I love working with creative teams, and offer special pricing and benefits to interior designers and other pros in hospitality and real estate industries. You’ll find all the details on my Trade Program page.

Yes, of course. Please reach out so we can talk about what you have in mind, and how to fit your budget.

In many cases, yes. Some clients have a special place in mind that they want photographed for their personal galleries. Others, like boutique hotels, have put great intention into landscape design and want to evoke those elements in their interior decor too.

Depending on availability, I may be able to offer an on-site botanical portrait session, or work with you on another bespoke photo series.
