I hope you’ll leave comments on the site about your experience with my Coastal Palms Art collection! If you do, just keep in mind that the site will capture and collect the data you enter in the comments form, like your email address, as well as your IP address and browser user agent string. This is to help spam detection.

You may already be using Gravatar, a service that attaches a handy profile picture to your online comments. To automatically check for and enable that feature on coastalpalmsart.com, the site will also create a “hash” — an anonymized string — from your email address. Once your comment is approved, voila! Media

There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the collection displayed proudly in your beautiful homes, offices and hotels — so I hope you’ll share images of your purchases! Just keep in mind that you should remove or disable any embedded location data (EXIF GPS), because site visitors are able to download and extract location data.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on the site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

I do not share your data, period. FYI, if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long the site retains your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you choose to register on the website, it may also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can always see, edit or delete that personal information (except your username). The website administrator can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
